Red Eye Pariah – Groundbreaking Double Release and DIY Music Video

Irish Amalga rockers Red Eye Pariah are set to make a powerful return with a groundbreaking double-releasefeaturing two brand-new tracks: “Draw Your Own Map” and “(I Won’t Ever) Let You Down”. These songs—never heard or performed live—will officially drop on April 18th.

Coinciding with the release, the band will unveil a dynamic, self-made music video for “Draw Your Own Map,” further showcasing their DIY ethos and creative independence.

“Draw Your Own Map” is a bold and introspective track that focuses on letting go of past burdens to embrace personal growth and transformation. The song’s message is driven home by a fluttering vocal melody and a groovy, mind-bending instrumental.

Frontman Deano Kelly explains:

“It’s about being able to let go of something that’s plagued you for so long, held you back, or stopped personal progress. Sometimes you just need to release whatever grip this thing has on you and go your own path.”

A New Voice in the Spotlight

The second track, “(I Won’t Ever) Let You Down,” marks a refreshing shift in the band’s dynamic, with Lead Guitarist Sammy Stevenson stepping into the role of lead vocalist for the first time—highlighting the tight chemistry within the four-piece group.

Sammy adds:

“The song is about the aspiration of never letting someone down like you may have been before. Although that might seem unrealistic in tough times, to aspire, is human.”

This announcement follows the March 26th news that Red Eye Pariah are recipients of the PRS Foundation’s Open Fund for Music Creators—a key milestone that is helping fuel their musical journey.

As they gear up for their 2024 release, the ‘Tequila King’ EP, the band has also announced an 8-date UK tour in its support.

Bassist Alex Close spoke candidly about the importance of this funding:

On Tour –

“Going on tour is expensive and we chose to do it twice. Merchandise, travelling, accommodation, etc. is rising in price by the day. Even after a strong year with more tickets sold in 1 year than our last 3, we simply could not have kept up without this support from PRS Foundation.”
