New from – The Dismas ( Pop / Rock Punk)

“ Driving guitar tones on this track from The Dismas keep the energy alive, complimented by harmonic melodies, sounds great !”

NMR – A Full on guitar production here fills the track, with Thomas’s vocals style carrying the melody really well, the chord choices and arrangement are cool and the harmonic vocals add to the appeal, very nicely done.

The Dismas – “Revelation” – A Rocking Revelation

Thomas Liewald, the creative force behind The Dismas, makes a bold entrance into the music scene with his debut single, Revelation. This powerful rock anthem not only grips listeners with its electrifying sound but also provokes deep reflection. At its core, the song asks a fundamental question: Where will you stand when the world is on the brink of collapse?

Liewald challenges his audience to self-examine their faith and beliefs. Would you recognize Jesus if he stood before you today? Is your faith genuine, or is it just a convenient way to cope with your flaws? These thought-provoking questions form the backbone of the song’s narrative.

Driven by gritty guitar riffs and a hauntingly memorable chorus, Revelation delivers a striking message. The lyrics plead, “Jesus, please pick me up, even if I have sinned much too much.” Through this raw confession, Liewald turns inward, seeking forgiveness and redemption. The song concludes with a Hebrew epilogue, offering hope: “When your path seems to end, and you’ve lost hope, Jesus Christ will see you and catch you. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or failed to do. He is there. Forever. Amen.”

However, The Dismas is not a conventional Christian act. Liewald does not identify as a Christian in the traditional sense but draws inspiration from the historical figure of Jesus—his universal message and the transformative power of his words and actions. To him, Jesus is not about religion or dogma but rather a symbol of the potential for goodness within every individual. “I believe every person has the right to be like Jesus – not just within the church. Jesus didn’t divide people into classes, and he forgave unconditionally. That’s something we need to remind ourselves of.”

With RevelationThe Dismas delivers both a sonic and thematic call to action. The song encourages listeners to break free from old patterns, embrace self-reinvention, and approach life with open eyes and hearts. The name The Dismas itself carries profound meaning: inspired by Dismas, the “Good Thief” crucified alongside Jesus, it stands as a symbol of repentance, forgiveness, and the hope for a new beginning.

Be part of this rocking revelation and carry its message forward. The Dismas is here to challenge, inspire, and move you—both musically and spiritually.
