PoinTakeN: Ireland’s Rising Alternative Rock Band
Hailing from Meath, Ireland, PoinTakeN is a four-piece band formed in 2023. The group came to life when vocalist and rhythm guitarist Harry O’Brien teamed up with drummer Jack O’Reilly, later joined by lead guitarist Fionnan Reillyand bassist Tom Flanagan. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Fontaines D.C. and Radiohead, their sound is a dynamic blend of high-energy anthems and soft acoustic ballads, showcasing catchy melodies, sing-along lyrics, and alternative rock riffs.
Recorded in December 2024, PoinTakeN released their debut single, Fashionably Nude, in February 2025. The release features two tracks:
- Fashionably Nude – A lively pop-rock anthem with infectious energy.
- I Want You to Be Mine – A melodic and emotional track that highlights the band’s softer side.
Both songs quickly resonated with listeners, gaining consistent attention on streaming platforms and attracting a growing international audience.
