“Matthew S Horner: A Fusion of Guitar / Synth grooves with catchy melodies “
NMR – From the intro drum pattern this track has a great vibe, the guitars give it a really full sound, with the chorus melody hook line grabbing the attention straight away, a really cool track that doesn’t let up on the Gas….don’t miss this one !
Matthew S. Horner
At 36 and Matthew
has been writing music since learning to play guitar at the age of 12. His journey in music has been a winding road, filled with numerous bands that came and went. None of them seemed to stick, so he took it upon himself to learn as many instruments as possible. he also delved into mixing and mastering, and while he’s come a long way, its still learning every day. The challenge has whats always kept Matt going.

“Growing up, I was deeply embedded in the pop-punk scene, with bands like Blink-182, Jimmy Eat World, and Boxcar Racer as my main inspirations. I’ve always loved Blink-182’s slogan, “crappy punk rock,” as a selling point. On the heavier side, Metallica also played a significant role in my musical upbringing, with some of their songs being among the first I learned.”
“It’s only recently that I started making my songs public. Music has always been my hobby and passion, something I did for myself. But like a cat, I’ve always been curious—curious about what my music could do or where it could take me. So, I figured, what the heck. Despite this, I’ve always doubted any talent I might have, and I probably always will. I prefer to stay down-to-earth.”
Matthew’s songs typically explore themes of acceptance, growth, and learning to be happy with who you are. Through his music, he hopes to share these journeys and maybe even inspire others along the way.
