North Carolina singer-songwriter Andrew Young returns with his latest release, sharing his new single “September” worldwide on February 21st. A heartfelt tribute to cherished memories, the song evokes nostalgia both sonically and lyrically, featuring bright and upbeat instrumentation inspired by 90s alternative rock icons The Goo Goo Dolls, Matchbox Twenty, and Third Eye Blind.

Lyrically, “September” reminisces about the magic and wonder of youth, capturing the essence of early autumn. “Take me back to that September / and the way it made me feel,” Young sings in the chorus, followed by the emotional plea: “Stay with me, now and forever / burn these days into my mind.”
