“ Nice Acoustic arrangement from Libby on this track, vocal style works well too “

NMR – Its always good to hear a well constructed acoustic track, Libby’s vocal sits effortlessly over this backdrop, smooth, well delivered, nice vocal style, the build into the chorus works great, simple yet effective, with a sprinkle of electric guitar to add some ambience, the whole thing just sounds nice.

Libby Ember –

Montreal-based singer-songwriter Libby Ember is carving a name for herself with her heartfelt storytelling and a sound that fuses indie-folk and pop influences. Rooted in a musical upbringing, Libby began vocal training at just eight years old and has spent over a decade refining her voice and artistic style.

A Self-Made Soundtrack

During the pandemic, Libby Ember picked up the guitar as a self-taught musician, channeling the solitude of lockdown into songwriting. Her compositions echo the emotional depth and vulnerability of influences like Phoebe Bridgers and Lizzy McAlpine, blending raw lyrics with delicate melodies that resonate deeply.

Duo Project: MAE LENNON

In addition to her solo work, Libby is one half of the indie duo MAE LENNON (@wearemaelennon), performing both original songs and covers at local events and online platforms. The project highlights her collaborative side, offering a broader canvas for creative expression.
