“ Eva has a great vocal tone and it really shines in this track “

NMR – Eva’s vocal work here with the melody and harmonies sound really good, the song has a nice arangment, some very well placed guitar parts with a nice reverb really add some space, the production is spot on too, great work !

Eva Miléna releases – Conch Shell

A Daydream About Hiding Away — and Wanting to Be Found.

Eva Miléna steps into the spotlight with her debut single Conch Shell — a dreamy indie-pop ballad laced with coastal metaphors and quiet longing. At its heart, the track explores the ache of escapism: the impulse to retreat into your inner world, while secretly hoping someone might come along to draw you out.

“I’m waiting for me to save me,” Eva says. “The zilennial take on Don Quixote.”

Built on ethereal synths, layered harmonies, and soft melancholy, Conch Shell marks the first chapter of a fictional universe that will unfold in her upcoming EP. Each track inhabits a different island, blurring the lines between mythology and magical realism. With a background in fiction writing, Eva brings a cinematic and literary quality to her music — threading narrative, metaphor, and myth into every melody.

The song was written just before Eva moved into her current apartment — a dim, oddly shaped space that, fittingly, resembles a shell.

“Turns out I do miss being able to crack open a window. But that’s showbiz.”

It became the perfect hideaway for a self-imposed exile, offering time and space to imagine life unfolding somewhere far away.

Conch Shell is also accompanied by an animated short created in collaboration with visual artist @rosymollet. Set in a sunken shipwreck, it features a lone figure singing into a conch shell — and the shell singing back, echoing her own voice in return.
