NMR – Im liking the vibes on this, nice guitar riffs and cool Bass lines, the arrangement has a nostalgic groove to it, a sort of Pop punk feel with melodic vocals and addictive chorus, very nice .

January Sixteen: Rising Scottish Rock

Formed in 2022, January Sixteen is a dynamic Scottish rock band composed of four seasoned musicians who have been collaborating in various bands for over two decades. Drawing from their extensive experience and camaraderie, the band delivers music that’s both fresh and nostalgic.

Their sound is inspired by an eclectic mix of legendary artists, including The Cure, The Pixies, U2, The Replacements, War On Drugs, My Bloody Valentine, Oasis, and many more. This diverse influence is reflected in their rich and layered compositions.

Releases and Achievements

The band debuted with their single “Rats” on January 16, 2023, marking the beginning of their journey. Since then, they’ve released:

  • 7 additional singles
  • 5-track self-titled EP

Their music has garnered glowing reviews, widespread radio play, and a strong online presence, with their YouTube videos racking up tens of thousands of views. In 2024, January Sixteen also had the opportunity to perform a live radio session and interview with a Glasgow radio station, further solidifying their reputation.
