James Eastwood to Release Self-Titled EP”

NMR – Upbeat catchy vibe and vocal melodies make this track a real happy affair, some nice guitar work and chord arrangements, combined with a good mix and production..

Overview

James Eastwood is set to release his self-titled EP on July 24th, a collection of songs that marks a return to his guitar-driven roots. Produced by Paul Hepworth at Wavebreak Studios, this new project revisits the sounds and influences of Eastwood’s early years.

The Songs

  • “A Reason To Change”
A haunting reflection on the devastating effects of addiction, this track delves into the theme of unprocessed loss. James comments, “It’s difficult when you see someone you love struggling with addiction. So much of life is dealing with the unexpected. Alcohol is one of those coping strategies that is so socially accepted, it goes under the radar.”
  • “Times Change”
This single combines a hummable chorus with philosophical musings. James reflects, “I was thinking about how external change doesn’t always bring about internal change. We hold onto a version of ourselves that is no longer helping us.”
  • “Manboy”
A lighter, catchy tune that offers a tongue-in-cheek perspective from a dissatisfied partner. “It’s a fun song, really,” James explains, “but it still ties into the theme of dealing with unexpected situations.”
